Classification Of Nonwoven Fabrics

The difference between PET polyester nonwoven fabric and PP nonwoven fabric:

1. The stability is better than polypropylene non-woven fabric

Main performance is strong ,wear-resisting,etc… The polyester non-woven fabric made by special raw materials, then it produced by the advanced import equipment and complex scientific processing technology, the requirements of technical content is far exceeded than polypropylene non-woven fabric.

2. Heat resistance is better than polypropylene non-woven fabric

Polypropylene non-woven fabric has the obvious thermal contraction, according to the survey, when the temperature reaches 140 ℃ ，it has obvious shrinkage, and polyester fiber non-woven fabrics of the highest temperature can reach around 230 ℃ , compared with the polypropylene non-woven fabric has distinct characteristics.

3. the anti-aging cycle is higher than the polypropylene non-woven fabric

The raw material of PET nonwoven fabric is polyeste ,advantage are anti-moth, wear resistance, uv resistance. The above characteristics are higher than polypropylene nonwoven fabric.

4. Good air permeability

Compared with polypropylene and other nonwoven fabrics, polyester nonwoven fabrics have excellent properties such as non-absorbency, insoluble in water, and strong air permeability.

5. Price

Because of the high cost of raw materials and processing of PET, the cost price of PET non-woven fabric is 30-40% higher than PP non-woven fabric.

6. Application

At present, in China, India, Africa and other markets, shopping bags generally use PP non-woven fabric, but in the European and American markets, due to the consumer level and customer requirements are relatively high, most chain stores, such as WALMART TESCO, etc., all choose PET non-woven fabric bags.
